Benefits of training from home

Yes, a traditional gym has benefits (namely equipment) but there are many benefits to training at home too....especially if you are pregnant or postpartum.

Benefits of training from home:

- It's easy:
all you have to do is roll out a mat, turn on the laptop and away you go
- Cuts down on time: no commute into the gym. No hassle trying to find parking. No packing up of baby's stuff and praying they will be in a good mood when they get to the class.
- In a familiar environment: If baby is needing more attention, you are at home with your familiar stuff. It is easy to mute yourself, breastfeed, sing those lullabies or log-off and re-watch the recording at a time that suits.
- Easier to cocoon: If cocooning is a priority then online training is the best option. You get coached in real-time but without the worry if leaving home.
- You can join from anywhere: not living near a gym that does pregnancy or postnatal classes? Well with online, location isn't an issue.
- The couch/dinner is just there: pregnant, tired, and not really loving getting from A-B? You can finish your class and go straight to relaxing on the couch after having dinner. No 30min commute home.

For me, online training has opened up a lot of doors to be able to work with a wider group of people all around the globe

It is all about finding what works for you....you may love the in-person training or online could be your jam!
